Volunteers

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in any of the following, please contact us.

Neighborhood TakeOut
NCJW is excited to partner w/ the University of Minnesota Extension services to bring Nutrition Classes for Immigrant Women.    The Nutrition class which will be called the "Neighborhood TakeOut" will focus on a "Simple good eating Program" that will educate the women about fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, food safety & stretching their food dollars.

Volunteers from NCJW help by purchasing foods to be given to each woman at the end of each class for their family for the weekend. Neighborhood Takeout works with immigrant Latina, Hmong & Somali women.  Nutrition classes take place at the Paul & Sheila Wellstone Center 179 Robie Street in St. Paul

To volunteer, please contact: Linda Morgan (lfmorgan@comcast.net) or Laurie Kamman (lnkamman@aol.com).
